Industrial Designer
Role Purpose:
The Industrial Designer will be responsible for creating compelling technical and commercial imagery to support the company's marketing and communications activities.
Working closely with the Marketing Strategist and engineering teams, the successful candidate will transform technical concepts, CAD models, engineering data and project information into professional visual content suitable for websites, social media, presentations, brochures, exhibitions and customer communications.
The role requires someone who can combine industrial design capability with an understanding of engineering and technology. They will need to create imagery that is visually engaging while remaining technically credible and accurately representing Lorillion’s products and capabilities.

Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of the business. The role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and generating sustainable revenue growth. Working closely with our technical, engineering and project teams, you will understand client requirements and develop opportunities that align with our capabilities and strategic objectives.

Business Development Manager - Defence
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our engineering consultancy within the Defence sector. This is a client-facing role focused on identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships and converting those opportunities into profitable engineering and consultancy projects. Working closely with our engineering, technical and project delivery teams, you will be responsible for developing opportunities from initial market engagement through to proposal, negotiation and contract award.
The successful candidate will bring an established network within the UK and/or international Defence sector and will be able to engage credibly with senior technical, commercial, procurement and programme stakeholders across the Defence ecosystem. The role will require an understanding of the Defence market, including the requirements of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), Defence Primes, OEMs, shipbuilders, systems integrators and wider Defence supply chain. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within complex procurement environments and developing opportunities with potentially long sales and programme lifecycles.

Battery Pack Principal Design Engineer
Role Purpose:
We require a Battery Pack Principal Design Engineer to design battery modules and packs for a range of applications across multiple industry sectors, including but not limited to, automotive, marine, defence and industrial.
The successful candidate will lead battery module and pack design and package battery cells as well as custom and off-the-shelf electrical/electronic components, external connectors, low-voltage harnesses and high-voltage/current interconnect into custom or modified enclosures, dealing with cooling requirements and meeting relevant industry standards and produce cost-effective and manufacturable designs. They will liaise with suppliers and manufacturers and work with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the delivery of effective engineering solutions.

IT Manager – Engineering, Manufacturing & Cyber Security
Role Purpose:
We are looking for an IT Manager, with a Minimum 5–8 years' relevant IT experience, including responsibility for IT systems within an engineering and/or manufacturing organisation.
The IT Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing and continuously improving the company's IT infrastructure, systems, cyber security, information management and technical support capability within a growing engineering consultancy and advanced manufacturing business.

Electronics Engineer (BMS)
Role Purpose:
We require an Electronics Engineer to develop control systems for batteries, power electronics or electric vehicles for our wide range of customer applications focussed on electrification. The successful candidate will be involved at all stages of the design process including inception, development and verification. They will liaise directly with suppliers and manufacturers and work with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the delivery of effective engineering solutions.

Systems Test and Integration Engineer (BMS)
Role Purpose:
Lead System Integration and testing activities including generation and execution of test plans utilising HiL rigs, test rigs and other test facilities.
You will be responsible of the design and development of testing plans for BMS system characterisation and V&V; perform testing activities, utilising HiL rigs and other battery test facilities; test analysis and reports. Problem investigation and resolution; setting up test equipment, including instrumentation and test automation; documentation of test facilities and test specifications; work closely with other engineering teams; ensure test plans are available so that the right facilities are made available at the appropriate time; ensure all data and reports are appropriately documented and stored; assist in developing product sign off criteria. Highlight any deviation from plan at the earliest opportunity and instigate recovery plans; ensure that the appropriate test standards are applied and are reviewed / updated as technology progresses.

Principal Embedded Software Engineer
Role Purpose:
We require a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to design low level embedded software for our wide range of customer applications focussed on electrification, including battery management, power conversion and electric vehicle control systems.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the software and controls team. They will develop software solutions, drive processes and tools as well as quality standards. They will work with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the delivery of effective engineering solutions. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys designing and implementing embedded software, as well as the creative problem solving, and testing required to ensure that the software modules function as intended.

Systems Engineer
Role Purpose:
An experienced Systems Engineer with a deep understanding of the whole systems engineering lifecycle who will work in a multidisciplinary team to design a variety of complex systems. Projects will be of varying levels of size and complexity and both internal and external projects. You need to able to apply both MBSE and traditional document based approaches to design definition according to the requirements of the project, applying industry best practice to analyse and validate the proposed architectures.

To deliver Functional Safety and Cyber Security functions, working cross-domain (Systems, HW, SW) to ensure development of product aligns with company’s and customers functional safety and cyber security processes.
