Role Purpose:
We require a Battery Pack Principal Design Engineer to design battery modules and packs for a range of applications across multiple industry sectors, including but not limited to, automotive, marine, defence and industrial. The successful candidate will lead battery module and pack design and package battery cells as well as custom and off-the-shelf electrical/electronic components, external connectors, low-voltage harnesses and high-voltage/current interconnect into custom or modified enclosures, dealing with cooling requirements and meeting relevant industry standards and produce cost-effective and manufacturable designs. Role Purpose:

Operating within a dynamic start-up environment, the role will lead the technical establishment of a new battery pack manufacturing facility from the ground up, supporting prototype, pilot, and low-to-medium volume production programmes for marine, industrial, and automotive sectors.
The Manufacturing Technical Specialist will act as the senior manufacturing engineering authority within the organisation, driving manufacturing strategy, process architecture, production readiness, technical governance, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities. The role will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, programme management, and executive leadership teams to ensure safe, scalable, and commercially successful manufacturing operations.

Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained across engineering, prototype development, low-to-medium volume manufacturing, testing, and supplier activities. Role Purpose:
To lead operational delivery, manufacturing coordination, and quality management activities within a fast-growing engineering consultancy specialising in battery systems, charging solutions, and electrification technologies for the marine, industrial, automotive, and defence sectors.
The role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operational performance across engineering support, prototype and low-volume manufacturing, supply chain coordination, quality systems, customer delivery, and continuous improvement activities. This includes supporting the manufacture of battery packs ranging from 60V to 800V using cylindrical and pouch cell technologies, as well as charging systems ranging from small mobility platforms through to large marine applications.
Working closely with the Operations Director and cross-functional engineering teams, the Operations and Quality Manager will help establish scalable operational processes, maintain quality standards, support business growth, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex electrification programmes from concept through production.

Role Purpose:
To lead the establishment, scale-up and operational management of a high-performance battery pack manufacturing business focused on low-to-medium volume production (50–5,000 units annually per product) for marine, industrial and automotive applications.
This role is responsible for building the manufacturing organisation from the ground up — including facility setup, team recruitment, production systems, manufacturing engineering, quality systems, supply chain coordination, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will drive the transition from prototype builds through to repeatable production manufacture of battery packs ranging from 60V to 800V using cylindrical and pouch cell technologies.
As a key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, the Manufacturing Director will play a critical role in shaping company strategy, culture, manufacturing capability, and operational scalability.
